RUNNER BEANS - LUCKY DIP!
UNKNOWN VARIETIES - SPECIAL OFFER!
We have a batch of runner bean plants, of which the varieties are unknown. Rather than waste them, we are offering them at a special price of just £6.99 or 12 plants for just £9.99, all with free delivery!
They will be from the following varieties, although we do not know which:
- Firestorm
- White Lady
- Moonlight
- Scarlet Emperor
- Lady Di
- Polestar
Unfortunately, we cannot specify any particular variety and they will come unidentified.
You will receive a pack of 5x XXL Plug Plants - or you can double up to 10 and save even more money. They will be sent loosely wrapped in a bag to retain majority of the soil within the plug. This bag is bio-degradable so can be potted on with the plant if you so wish.Please see attached picture for info.
Each plug plant size is approximately: H4.5cm x W4.5cm (excluding foliage) and can be be planted out after all risk of frost has passed.
RUNNER BEANS - 'Lucky Dip'
- Pre-prepare growing site with ample organic matter.
- Gradually harden off after all risk of frost has passed.
- Protect young plants from pests.
- Ensure plants have support to ramble (canes / wire / netting).
- Keep well watered whilst flowers are setting.
- Pick regularly to encourage the plants to keep flowering.
- Protect from frost
