Trailing Nepeta is an ever popular foliage trailing plant for hanging baskets. The long trailing green shoots have cream splashes and a distinctive scent. An essential plant to add to any hanging basket, and makes a pleasing alternative to trailing Ivy or Creeping Jenny.
Although grown as an annual, it is possible to over-winter Nepeta by protecting them from particularly severe frosts, and keeping the compost damp (but not wet).
