Onion, Leek & Garlic Food is a granular compound fertiliser that provides essential nutrients and minerals in a soluble form. It can be applied at any time during the growing season, but is best applied in the spring months. It is the perfect slow-release fertiliser for crops such as onions, shallots, garlic and leeks, as well as many typical flowering plants such as tulips and daffodils. The high Phosphorus content aids the development of the bulb and strengthens stems, whilst Potassium will help prevent disease. The steady supply of Nitrogen will help form large bulbs and bumper crops!
 
 
For top dressing, apply at a rate of 35g-70g per square metre (35-70gsm)

Health Hazards
 
The fertilizers are basically harmless products when handled correctly. However, prolonged or repeated contact with skin may cause discomfort, ingestion of large quantities may give rise to gastro-intestinal disorders and inhalation of dust at high concentrations may cause irritation of the nose and upper respiratory tract with symptoms such as sore throat and coughing. There are no known long term effects. It is advisable to wear gloves, eye protection and face masks when handling the product, especially when indoors/confined spaces.
