Expected despatch from March
- Can be planted out once all risk of frost has passed, or with protection from frost
- Harvest with scissors 1 inch above soil line when plants are 4 to 6 inches high or pick leaves from outside. Varieties will grow back.
- In dry weather, keep soil moist and also during germination.
- Grows best in cooler, partially shaded spots, so avoid heat traps and prolonged direct sun as this can cause the plants to go to seed early.
