DWARF FRENCH BEANS - 'Slenderette'
An early maturing Kenyan-type bean which produces heavy crops of slim, dark green 10-12cm (4-5in) stringless pods over a long season. Easy to harvest as the plant has an upright, open habit.
When growing beans, hoe between plants often and water regularly. Provide a compost mulch around the base of bean plants to combat dry periods.
For the best crops harvest beans regularly while the pods are still young. Culinary note:
Suitable for freezing.

Dwarf French Bean Slenderette – Cultivation Advice
- Plant outdoors with 6-8" between plants once the soil has warmed during late spring after all danger of frost as they are sensitive to low soil temperatures.
- Keep weed free and protect from pests whilst still young.
- Plants do not require support.
- Harvest as pods ripen
- The plants should continue to flower if picked steadily.
